Slate Roofing in London
Natural slate specialists — the traditional covering of Chelsea and Kensington.
Natural Welsh slate is the signature roofing material of West London's period housing. We source quality slate, match existing roofs for repairs, and install new slate roofs to traditional standards.
Slate work is a craft: correct grading, holing, nailing and headlap make the difference between a roof that lasts a century and one that fails in a decade.
Signs you might need slate roofing
- Slates slipping after fixings corrode ('nail sickness')
- White delamination on slate faces
- Mismatched patch repairs by previous contractors
Common questions
Can you match my existing slates?
In most cases, yes. We keep sources for reclaimed and new Welsh slate and will match size, thickness and colour as closely as possible.
